Shipping and Payment

What forms of payment are acceptable?
Current methods of payment include Telegraphic Transfer (TT), Bank transfer, Visa & Master card and Paypal. We do not accept Western Union bank transfers. International customers must use Paypal.

How long does it take to process my order and how long does shipping take?
Shipping times will vary depending on availability and product. All orders received and paid for usually ships within 48 hours. Some Pre-Sale merchandise will ship as soon as it becomes available. Some handling fees may apply depending on shipping method select.

How will I receive my shipment?
SHIOKTOYS.COM utilizes Airmail Parcel Post and EMS for most of it's shipping needs. If there is another shipping method preferred like DHL Express and courier services, you may choose the desired option at checkout. Otherwise we will process mode selected.

How much is shipping?
Shipping charges may vary between products, unless otherwise stated shipping charges will be assessed during order processing. We only charge as close to estimated cost to ship the item. Some additional charges may apply for Express order processing. Inquires for shipping may be submitted for a quote before ordering.

SHIPPING POLICY
All items, no matter your shipping choice, are packed safely and carefully by our trained staff.

Please note that all rates are calculated by a combination of weight in kilograms (1 kg = 2.2 lbs) and size, and in US Dollars. We suggest you order accordingly to make the most of your weight allotment and size which is a single or combination of products of 1 cube ft. Any single or combination of products over this size are charged additional weight. Sometimes at our discretion, we might ship your order in separate boxes to reduce our shipping cost.

Please note that a number of countries require you to pay a customs tax. This tax is charged by your home country and NOT SHIOKTOYS.COM. Please contact your local post office and ask if there is one and how it is calculated before you order. All taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Not in stock items: Please note that if you choose an item(s) that is to be shipped from 2-5 days later or on PreOrder, your whole order will be held until the item(s) arrives at our warehouse. Please take this into account when expecting your order.

Insurance: This is an option available to you and it is your responsibility to purchase it if you so desire. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CANNOT REFUND YOUR PURCHASE IF YOUR ORDER GETS LOST IN THE MAIL OR IF IT GETS DAMAGED DURING TRANSIT (UNLESS WE PACKED IT INCORRECTLY). See terms on the bottom of this page.

By insuring your order, your package will have a tracing number, NOT tracking number, which you can use when contacting your local post office regarding the whereabouts of your package. Please note that you will have to sign for your package. For your tracing number or claims regarding an insured order, please contact customerservice@shioktoys.com.

Air Mail and Insurance: Please note that there is no tracing number issued for Air Mail. Lost items can not be replaced or refunded due to the fault of the postal system. Transit time also varies from as little as three days to as much as three weeks or more. As stated above, once in transit, we cannot tell you where it is or how fast it will arrive as it is part of the normal Postal System, which offers no tracking capabilities to us or you. As such, we suggest that if you are overly concerned about your packages, you consider electing insurance or choosing Express Mail as your mode of shipping. Express Mail is insured and is traceable from departure to arrival and offer you access to this capability.
